Ashater is the trading name of me, Ezz Ashater — an independent systems architect operating as a sole practitioner from 10th of Ramadan, Egypt. There is no separate registered company behind this site; when you contact me, you are dealing with me directly, not a team.

What I collect, and why

The contact form (/contact/). If you use it, the name, email, and any company, website, or message details you type are sent to my intake workflow, stored so I have a record of the conversation, and forwarded to me by email and a private notification so I can reply. I read and answer these myself. They exist to let me respond to you — nothing else.

WhatsApp and email. If you reach me at +201060092277 or ezz@ashater.com directly, that conversation runs on WhatsApp's or your email provider's own platform, under their privacy terms, not this site's. I keep ordinary business records of client conversations the same way any small practice does.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to see which pages get read and roughly how visitors find the site — aggregate usage patterns, not anything I use to identify you personally. GA4 sets cookies in your browser to do this; you can block or clear them in your browser settings, or use Google's own Analytics opt-out tool.

Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts. Loading them sends your browser's request (including your IP address) to Google's servers, the same way any externally hosted font or image would.

Who else sees it

The contact-form data passes through the infrastructure that runs this practice — Supabase (database) and my own self-hosted automation — solely to get your message to me. I don't sell, rent, or share your details with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

How long I keep it

For as long as it's a useful record of a conversation or a client relationship — ordinarily no longer than that. Ask me to delete it and I will, unless I have a genuine reason to keep a record (an active or recent engagement, for example).

Your options

Email ezz@ashater.com at any time to ask what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I'll act on it directly — there's no support queue to route it through.

If what this site collects or how it's handled changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
